because it feels good.
so we get asked to donate our time and talents for causes all the time, and whenever possible, we do it. why? because it feels good. this time we photographed a gathering for a friend that was designed to raise money for the neighborhood elementary school. she called it taste & talents. she provided sips of wine & tasty treats, and people from the community donated their art or talent for auction. there was everything from sauce making classes to a handyman for the day. there was even a local artist painting a beautiful watercolor that someone got to leave with. it was a really cool event.

fashion & fun for a wonderful cause!
photographing events have become a favorite of ours lately. we love the atmosphere and the feeling of love in the air when friends and family gather together to celebrate for one reason or another.
this fashion benefit was hosted by an absolutely amazing woman, who we've grown to love in the short time we've known her, and a friend of hers, for a really wonderful cause.

come on people now, smile on your brother.
every august my neighborhood comes together. we gather at the elementary school and listen to live music, celebrate art, play backyard games, indulge in fresh, locally grown fruits & veggies, and quite simply, enjoy one another's company. every neighborhood should do it!
